Sony’s PlayStation Indies Sale is live on the PS Store, running until February 25, 2026. Nearly 3,000 games, DLC packs, and add-ons are discounted, with savings reaching up to 95%. We dug through the catalog and picked eight games that deserve your attention.
The Highlights
Nine Sols: $14.99 (50% off)
Red Candle Games calls the setting “taopunk,” and it fits. Nine Sols blends Sekiro-style deflection combat with a hand-drawn 2D world steeped in Asian mythology and cyberpunk aesthetics. The PS5 version holds an 84 on Metacritic, and a recent update added 4K/120fps support on PS5 Pro. At half price, this is one of the strongest action platformers you can buy right now. If you enjoy punishing metroidvanias, put this at the top of your list.

Cult of the Lamb: $15.99 (60% off)
Massive Monster’s cult management roguelike holds an 82 on Metacritic and has only gotten better since launch. The Woolhaven expansion added substantial endgame content. At $15.99, you are getting the base game plus years of free updates. Build your flock, sacrifice the non-believers, repeat.
Sea of Stars: 35% off
Sabotage Studio’s retro RPG won Best Independent Game at The Game Awards 2023 and scored a 91 on Metacritic for the PS5 version. The combat system takes clear inspiration from Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG, and the free Throes of the Watchmaker DLC adds even more. If you played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and want another turn-based RPG with strong art direction, this is it.

Signalis: $13.99 (30% off)
A survival horror game made by two people. rose-engine built Signalis over eight years, and it shows in every detail. The game channels Resident Evil and Silent Hill through a retro sci-fi lens, with an atmosphere that stays with you long after the credits. 81 on Metacritic, and deeply loved by the community with an 8.4 user score.
Dungeons of Hinterberg: $11.49 (50% off)
Austrian studio Microbird Games made a dungeon crawler set in the Alps. Think Persona meets Zelda. You split your time between exploring 25 unique dungeons and building relationships in a touristy mountain town. 80 on Metacritic and a historic low price. If you liked Balatro’s approach of blending two genres into something unexpected, Hinterberg does the same with social sims and action RPGs.
Balatro: 10% off
Our review already covered why this poker roguelike deserves your time. The discount is small, but if you have been waiting for any excuse to buy it on PS5, here it is.
Hollow Knight: Often in Sales
Team Cherry’s original masterpiece regularly appears in PlayStation sales. If you still have not played it, check the PS Store during this event. We wrote a full Hollow Knight review, and its sequel Silksong is also available on PlayStation.

A Little to the Left: Sale Price Varies
A cozy puzzle game where you sort and organize household items. It sounds simple. It is simple. That is the point. Push Square recommends it as a “perfect example of how a simplistic premise can deliver a comforting experience.” If you need a palate cleanser between intense runs of Nine Sols and Signalis, this is your game.
When Does the Sale End?
The PlayStation Indies Sale runs until February 25, 2026. A separate Critics’ Choice Sale is running alongside it with additional discounts on larger titles.
